Account & Data Deletion

At GOFPOS, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated business data.

1. How to Delete Your Account

In the app (fastest): Open the GOFPOS mobile or desktop app, go to Settings → Legal & Account → Delete Account, then confirm. Your account is immediately disabled and you are signed out — you will no longer be able to log in with that account.

By request: You can also request account and data deletion by contacting our support team via email or phone with your registered account details for verification.

2. Data That Will Be Deleted

Once your request is processed, we will permanently delete your account data, including:
• Business profile and settings
• Products and inventory records
• Sales, orders, and purchase history
• Customer, supplier, and employee data
• System usage and activity logs

3. Data Retention

Certain data may be retained temporarily where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

4. Processing Time

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 3–7 business days after verification.

5. Important Note

Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone. Please ensure you have backed up any important data before submitting your request.
